Who you are buying from

Skimrr is published and supported by its author. You can reach us at [email protected] and we answer every message.

Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC, who act as the merchant of record. They are the seller on the invoice, and they collect and remit VAT and sales tax on our behalf.

What you are buying

A perpetual licence to use Skimrr on up to 3 devices, for one payment of $19.99 USD. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.

The licence is personal and cannot be resold or transferred. It covers future updates to Skimrr at no extra cost, for as long as we publish them.

How activation works

After purchase you receive a licence key by email. Entering it in the app contacts our licence server once to register the device, then roughly once a month to confirm the licence is still valid.

If that server cannot be reached, Skimrr keeps working. Only an explicit confirmation that a licence has been revoked, after a refund or a chargeback, removes access.

What Skimrr does to your files

Skimrr reads the folder you choose, and moves files only to its own local trash, only after showing you the batch and only when you confirm. Nothing is deleted until you empty that trash yourself.

You remain responsible for your own backups. We strongly recommend having one before running any tool that moves files, including this one.

Liability

Skimrr is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, including the statutory guarantee of conformity.

Consumers in the European Union

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in. Nothing in these terms takes that away.
